I recently purchased two of these cabinets and wanted to share my experience with assembly: Assembling these cabinets requires patience, as there are over 75 bolts and screws to attach. It’s important to be careful with the bolt heads, as they can strip easily. I recommend having two people when attaching the top of the cabinet to the side panels. While the rest of the assembly can be done by one person, having an extra set of hands for this step is helpful. When attaching the top door hinge, it’s crucial to push the long end of the L-shaped piece upward through the hole on the door and then through the hole in the cabinet. Pulling the short end through prematurely can cause you to have to redo this step. Despite the complexity of assembly, the components of these cabinets align exceptionally well. As a result, the assembly of the second cabinet took about half the time of the first one. Cleaning up the extensive cardboard packaging that comes with these cabinets may take some time, especially if you recycle. I recommend keeping some of the foam padding that came with the panels to use as a liner on the shelves to prevent scratches. While one of the cabinets locks smoothly, the other one locks a bit roughly. It’s important to ensure they are locked to keep the doors securely shut. Each cabinet includes four shelves, but I found one shelf to be unnecessary since the bottom panel serves as a shelf itself. While other cabinets may require installation of locks, the locks on these cabinets function adequately. However, the thin steel panels may be susceptible to oil canning, so careful handling is necessary to maintain their appearance. Overall, these cabinets offer good value for their price, but there are a few areas for improvement. One lock is less effective than the other, and initial assembly can be challenging, especially for one person. Additionally, the metal may bend easily. It would be helpful for the seller to provide an assembly video. Despite these drawbacks, I appreciate the ample space these cabinets provide, the high-quality casters that are easy to install, and their sturdiness for the price. They fill a gap in the market, as major hardware stores do not offer a similar product. After seeing mine, my neighbors are also planning to purchase some.
